Reverend Luis Alberto & Daisy Gonzalez: A Legacy of Faith, Leadership, and Service

Reverend Luis Alberto Gonzalez is the President of the Council of Churches Spring of Life "Manantial de Vida" and Senior Pastor of Manantial de Vida, serving in Perth Amboy and Carteret, NJ. A passionate leader and devoted servant of God, he is committed to empowering the church, transforming communities, and advocating for those in need.

With a heart for ministry shaped by strong mentors, Reverend Gonzalez attributes his foundation in faith and leadership to his parents, Bishop Luis Roberto Gonzalez and Reverend Ana M. Marín de Gonzalez. Their unwavering dedication to the gospel instilled in him the discipline, wisdom, and passion to serve. Additionally, he has been profoundly influenced by his uncle, Abner Marín of Hermandad Logos, whose teachings broadened his theological perspective. More recently, Pastors Gabriel and Jeanette Salguero have played an instrumental role in sharpening his leadership, inspiring his ministry, and expanding his impact. Above all, his wife, Pastor Daisy Gonzalez, has been his greatest ministry partner and mentor, walking alongside him in every mission and endeavor.

Reverend Gonzalez has devoted his life to church administration, mission work, and community outreach. His passion for constructing and restoring worship spaces has provided places of spiritual refuge for many. Through his leadership, workshops, and conferences, he has mentored and guided many other leaders to excel and fulfill God’s calling over their lives. Through the ministries of the churches and his leadership and examples, many have come to the Lord, been discipled, and sent. Also having a heart for the community, he has continued and expanded a food distribution program; thousands have been served in two cities, reflecting his deep commitment to meeting both spiritual and physical needs.

Recognizing the need for special needs services in the church, he has become an advocate for the special needs community. He has worked together with his wife, Pastor Daisy, for advocacy and support for families with special needs. Reverend Gonzalez co-founded with his wife "Unidos," a special needs ministry providing counseling, education, and resources for churches and parents. Through interviews, workshops, conferences, events, and mentorship, he has brought awareness and empowered families and church leaders to embrace and uplift the special needs community with love and understanding.

His work has earned him two Mayoral Citations in Perth Amboy and prestigious honors such as the Eagles Award, Triumphant Award, International Award, and Visionary Award. His expertise spans theology, ministry leadership, church planting, Christian counseling, youth mentorship, and community development.

A devoted husband and father, Reverend Gonzalez has been happily married for 24 years to Pastor Daisy Gonzalez, his partner in life and ministry. Together, they have three wonderful children: Elijah, Ezekiel, and Elyssa. Beyond ministry, he enjoys architecture, construction, Queen Anne-style homes, classic cars, basketball, baseball, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
